After their character has been approved, new players come here to create their first monster. If someone if unable to think of anything, they are able to choose a non-rare monster from the first area to begin with, in which case it is not necessary to post here unless they want to customize some of its physical features.

As one might have guessed, this is a staff only area for discussing monsters and game mechanics. Mods should each make a thread and post their concepts for monsters that have not yet been spawned so that other mods do not create ones that are too similar.

If you're looking for a traveling companion, someone to battle, or even just want to list a few monsters you want to trade, this is the place to post the thread.

A pleasant and beautiful place, Tawainai Meadow was created with newcomers in mind. Miles of nothing but lush grass spreads out around the entry point giving players a clear view of any approaching monsters, and the tame difficulty makes this the ideal place for players to train up their weaker monsters.

Levels 1-10

Sub-boards: Tawainai Meadow Archive, Tawainai Meadow Boss, Tawainai Meadow Dungeon

The pure white sand of Shizuka Beach spreads out seemingly forever alongside the turquoise water of the ocean. There are quite a few monsters to be found in the shallow waters and buried beneath the sand. This is a good area to train in once players have gotten a grip on the game and are finished in the meadow.

Levels 11-20

The swamplands here are always dark and rather foreboding in appearance, housing a multitude of Koinu's more amphibious creatures. You'll likely have to rely a lot on your map as you delve further into this murky and dank area.

Levels 21-30

Really just a wide expanse of snowy fields, Yukai Tundra is a common place for players to simply fool around. Since their monsters are the only ones feeling the discomfort cold brings on, players can enjoy wintertime games such as fort building and snowball fights without worry. Of course this doesn't mean the area is without its dangers, and there are many monsters lurking about. So long as you don't stray too far from the entry point and the multitude of other players, however, it shouldn't be a problem.

Levels 31-40

Hardly anything here besides sand, cactus', and monsters. If you're looking for some nice scenery, this isn't the place, but it's great for training your monsters if they don't mind the blistering heat during the day and the chilling cold at night.

Levels 41-50

A harsh area, Ganjou Mountain is particularly steep and hard to climb with many tough monsters along the way. If you want to make it to the top you had best be ready for a long climb.

Levels 51-60

Certainly not the kindest area in Koinu, the Kasai Fields are characterized by miles of hard, barren ground with rivers of lava flowing freely about the land. Not the most realistic area, considering even getting close to lava would result in horrid burns due to the heat alone, but in the virtual world you really only have a problem in you fall in.

Levels 61-75

Not all of the high level areas are frightful in appearance. Enzeru is your typical land above the clouds - Or rather, on the clouds. Mountains of the white stuff spread out all around this area's entry point, soft like a pillow but solid enough to walk on. Don't let its appearance fool you though, Enzeru is home to many wickedly tough enemies, and the denizens of the sky never seem particularly happy to find intruders in their realm.
